Winter is the perfect time to get your pool and garden ready for Summer nights. This Tarragindi home has a beautiful pool and landscaped backyard, but the customers wanted it upgraded so they could enjoy the space more when the warm weather comes. We created a new pool circuit from the switchboard to support new cables, lighting, and safety components. Leighton and Nick P. ran cables (in conduit) from the rear of the house, through the deck floor and out to where the pool equipment and weatherproof transformers were housed. They added pool and fence earthing and included extra low voltage cabling for all the garden spike lights throughout the garden. Spotlights were added along the rear fence and feature lighting was added to the trees and garden beds.  Finally, the sparkies put lights up underneath the alfresco area and added provisions for a fan down the track.

I remember how much I loved going for a night swim as a kid. The hot and humid summer nights in Mount Gravatt had wet towels and water all through the house. Our friends from up and down the street would come over for bomb-dives, Marco Polo, brandy, and jumping off the roof until late into the night. So many memories from such simple nights in the backyard.
